It's hard to soften and open our hearts when we are hunching over our computers and busy working on our phones. We'll move slowly but deeply, allowing time to breathe deeply and bring balance to our mind and body.

This mindful flow will target all of our back muscles, core, and chest to help stabilize and open our posture without creating extra tension that may inhibit the movement of our diaphragm. Our practice will create space for expansive breathing and heart softening, as well as breath-based, mindful presence—the heart of yoga.

We can do hard things! However, strength practice is not just about building muscle, but rather developing strength to soften and open. We'll use full body balancing poses that will engage every muscle, including the heart, as we move deeply from a place of connection and compassion. We’ll cultivate an overall sense of stability and confidence throughout our whole being, which will help us to soften further still.
