instagram live conversation with micah mortali - author of Rewilding: Meditations, Practices and Skills for Awakening in Nature

Nourish your Wellbeing & Gratitude Through Connecting with Nature In Conversation with Micah Mortali, author of  Rewilding: Meditations, Practices and Skills for Awakening in Nature and Founder of the Kripalu School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership

Micah’s life’s work is about helping modern humans reconnect with their deeper, truer selves through mindfulness, rewilding, and immersion in the natural world. We'll talk about how we can amplify our health, gratitude, and happiness through connecting with nature during this season and how to stay "warm" as we slide into the colder months.

Micah is a lifelong student of the world’s great spiritual traditions whose undergraduate work was in comparative world religions. In his 20’s, he was a wilderness counselor and outdoor educator with young adults, guiding backcountry expeditions on both land and water. For the past 16 years, Micah has been leading retreats, trainings, and programs at Kripalu. Micah was the Director of the Kripalu Schools for 7 years, and it was during this period that he was inspired to create the groundbreaking Kripalu School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership and write the book Rewilding: Meditations, Practices and Skills for Awakening in Nature published by Sounds True.  Micah is dedicated to the idea that human beings are a self-aware expression of the living earth, and that our future depends on awakening to this reality, and remembering how to communicate more effectively with the systems that govern life on this planet.
