Savasana Series: Legs Up a Chair

Savasana with the legs elevated is a nourishing, restful pose that can be a more comfortable option, since it can help relieve excess tension and holding in the pelvis, belly, and back. Overall, this is a wonderful resting position to release a constricted psoas, which supports overall rejuvenation, digestion, circulation. It is known to help those who need a bit of extra quiet and calm in the mind as well. While this pose is rejuvenating, it can also be used to enhance your sleep routine—and can even be done in the middle of the night to help get you back to sleep.
