Restorative Yoga is a powerful practice that can help us cultivate a responsive, flexible nervous system that allows us to be grounded, present, and open so we can support ourselves and our communities... in times of joy and in times of tumult.
This vagus-stimulating practice is designed to nourish a more optimal balance between the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous system, boosting our resilience and optimizing all of our systems for health and healing.
The vagus nerve is thought to be at the heart of your parasympathetic nervous system. The ability to shift into the relaxation response. It extends from the brainstem down into your stomach and intestines, enervating your heart and lungs. We will stimulate all of these areas using a sequence of mindful slow yoga and restorative poses, conscious breathing and relaxation, and somatic movement and tools,
Join me to experience its profound impact as well as learn some tips and approaches you can incorporate into your own teaching.
We'll conclude the practice with a short info session about my upcoming Restorative Yoga Teacher Training, which starts on March 18. Join me to learn more and ask any questions about the 55-hour program.
Plus, ONE LUCKY LIVE ATTENDEE will win a spot in the training!
