quick reset: 90-second nervous system practice

We know, right now, there is so much stress in our environment. And inside us.

Plus stressful events from the past can have a lasting impact on the state of our nervous system in the present and even determine our reactions in the future.  Intense emotions, fearful or negative thoughts, old behaviors, and past traumatic events can all build and contribute to a total stress load that can cause our nervous system to become dysregulated, causing us to feel constantly uneasy or on edge. When done regularly, a simple three-breath pause - to Land, Arrive, and Relax on purpose - can help reset our nervous system and leave us feeling more grounded, present, and calm.

Try it with me now. Then, set your phone reminder to repeat this practice every couple of hours - all day long.
