my favorite 4-minute technique to navigate transitions ✨

September always seems to race in and change things overnight. No matter your age, the season brings with it a “back to school” mood and the reignition of our grounding routines, which is especially important right now.

After all, autumn is a time for transition and transformation.

It is naturally a time for beginnings; it is also a time of letting go to make room for growth and evolution.

Change can be difficult for most of us. Self-initiated or not, change moves us through a transition zone which often creates a sense of groundlessness. It can be unsettling, even scary, to be in this liminal state of letting go of what we've known to allow for something new to emerge.

As we enter this transitional season, it’s an ideal time to fortify your inner resources, nourish your own "roots" for health and immunity, and tap into your infinite source of compassion and heartfulness.

4-minute practice to navigate transitions

When we work hard to resist change, we can add to our tension and feel more stuck. However, micro practices, which can be done anytime, anywhere, can help us feel more grounded in times when we may feel unmoored.

Here, I’m sharing one of my favorite short practices that combines a potent breath technique with simple movement. It takes less than 5 minutes, and you can do it seated!

May this practice bring you ease.
