You will flow through a short series of breath-based mindful vinyasa, rejuvenating restoratives, and an intention-setting meditation that will leave you feeling more bright and aligned with spring’s expanding energy.
mini-retreat: relaxing into the heart of winter
In this mini-retreat, we’ll weave metta affirmations and blessings throughout our slow flow warm-ups and as we settle deeply into our restoratives. With a special focus on our lungs and heart center, we’ll expand our capacity to stay present and listen with our hearts, so you can continue releasing tension, find deep relaxation, and respond (not react) with awareness and compassion.
sacred pause - winter solstice mini-retreat
As we move into winter and the holiday season, it’s not uncommon to have a heightened experience of busy-ness. Along with winterizing tasks around the house, gatherings, card-writing, and gift-buying, we also navigate family dynamics, as well as the stressors that already exist in our daily lives. If we don’t balance this with some space and time to care for ourselves, we grow tense and cut off from the very light, warmth, and resources we need to nourish ourselves at this time.
supple psoas mini retreat: rooted, rested, & realigned
In this class, I’ll share a little bit about how the psoas relates to stress, digestion, breathing, and posture. Then, we will flow through a simple Supple Psoas Sequence that weaves together mindful slow yoga and restoratives.
